Data Governance

University data are valuable institutional assets that support our central missions of teaching, service, and research.  Additionally, these data play an increasing role in developing and implementing the strategic goals of the University.  To facilitate effective decision making, University data must be accessible, accurate, secure, and easily integrated across the University’s information systems.  To best accomplish this goal, UNM employs a collaborative data governance structure that best leverages key expertise and resources across campus.  Visit the links to learn more about specific roles and responsibilities, and for information about accessing and using UNM data.
